Converse Bank was founded in 1993 on the basis of the North Armenian Mutual Bank. In 1994, it was renamed the Mutual Bank Converse Bank. In 1995, the bank became a member of the Yerevan Stock Exchange and was licensed by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia to operate in the securities sector.
The main shareholder of the bank is the Argentinean—Armenian businessman Eduardo Ernekian.
The authorized capital of the bank is AMD 19,947,633,300 of the Republic of Armenia.
Converse Bank provides a wide range of services for private and corporate clients. Credit products are available for individuals, including mortgage and car loans, as well as credit cards. The Bank offers various deposit programs and account opening and maintenance services.
Factoring, financial leasing, and custody services are available for corporate clients.
In 2021, Converse Bank launched the C360 service package, which provides round-the-clock access to banking operations with a single subscription. The package includes account servicing, card issuance and credit limit provision, as well as zero fees for cash withdrawals at the bank’s ATMs.
For the convenience of customers, the bank has developed a mobile application that allows you to make payments for utilities, parking and the Internet, as well as manage bills and cards.
In addition, the C-POS app allows entrepreneurs to accept contactless payments and track their transaction history directly from their mobile device.
Converse Bank is actively involved in international cooperation. In 2017, the bank signed a general agreement on long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with Kapitalbank of Uzbekistan.
The Bank offers investment services, including asset and securities trust management.
Forward contracts are also available to hedge currency risks.
