Making a deposit

To make a deposit, you must go to any branch of the Bank and submit the necessary documents. If you are already a customer of Ameriabank, just apply through the Online Banking system

Extension of the contract term

The term of the deposit may be extended on the terms stipulated in the application agreement and the terms of deposits for individuals.

In addition, if the depositor does not request a refund of the deposit after its expiration, depending on the mark in the agreement, one of two things applies: either the deposit validity period is extended on the terms stipulated in the agreement, at the interest rate applicable in the bank at the time of renewal, or the deposit amount is transferred to the depositor's bank account on the terms valid for bank accounts

Is the interest credited to my bank account taxable?

Yes. The amount of interest credited to the depositor's bank account is subject to income tax: in the territory of the Republic of Armenia-10% according to the legislation of the Republic of Armenia

Managing a deposit without visiting a bank - manage your money easily and simply, at any time adding funds to the deposit amount through online systems/Mobile Banking without having to visit a bank. 4. Savings in your preferred currency - you can make a deposit in Armenian drams, US dollars, euros and / or Russian rubles. Operations on the savings account can be performed in the account currency at the exchange rate in effect at the Bank at that time, with the exception of money conversion operations

- If the deposit is urgent, you can cancel it and get the deposit amount at any time. However, depending on the type and conditions of the deposit, interest will be recalculated at a different interest rate. - To withdraw cash, you must submit a corresponding application to the Bank's head office one day before the preferred withdrawal date, if the amount exceeds AMD 30 million or the equivalent of AMD 1 million in the case of another currency. - For Ameriabank's branches in Yerevan, the following cash withdrawal limits apply: AMD 20 million, in branches outside of Yerevan: AMD 10 million. In branches outside of Yerevan, the amount exceeding the established limits is provided in cash within no more than 5 business days after receiving the corresponding request from the client. - The Bank is obliged to return the deposit or part of it to you upon your first request. If you request a refund before the deadline, we will recalculate the amount based on the submitted request and refund you the amount remaining as a result of the recalculation, as well as interest at the rate of 0.1% instead of the interest rate stipulated in the deposit agreement. If the interest to be repaid after recalculation has already been paid, the bank will deduct from the principal amount of the deposit the difference between the interest paid and the amount of interest calculated at the annual rate of 0.1%. This condition applies unless otherwise stipulated in the terms of the deposit and / or agreement.
